General questions
What is hydrodemolition and what is it used for?
Hydrodemolition is a method of concrete demolition using a high-pressure water jet (300–3,000 bar) that removes damaged concrete while keeping the reinforcement intact. It is mainly used in the renovation of bridges, parking garages, and industrial floors, where conventional jackhammers would damage the reinforcement.
What is the difference between water jetting and sandblasting?
Water jetting works purely with high water pressure and leaves no abrasive or chemical waste - it is suitable for removing coatings, rubber, or dirt without damaging the substrate. Sandblasting adds abrasive to the jet and is more effective on heavy rust or old layers on metal and concrete.
Do you work outside of Prague?
Yes, we operate throughout the Czech Republic and also carry out projects in Slovakia and Germany.
How does the inquiry process work and how much will it cost?
The price depends on the scope of the area, type of surface, and complexity of the intervention. We provide a specific calculation after an inspection or based on photos and floor plans. A non-binding inquiry costs nothing - contact us via the contact form or by phone.
Is your cleaning chemical-free?
With high-pressure water cleaning, yes - we remove deposits, coatings, and dirt purely through the mechanical action of water, without chemicals. This is an advantage especially in facilities where chemicals are not desirable.
Questions about individual services
How long does hydrodemolition of a bridge structure take?
It depends on the area and thickness of the concrete being removed, but we work in the range of up to low tens of m² per shift while maintaining work quality. We provide an exact estimate after evaluating the specific structure.
Is sandblasting suitable for sensitive surfaces such as historical facades?
Yes, but finer abrasive and lower pressure are chosen to avoid damaging the original material. For heritage-protected objects, we always recommend a test on a small area first.
What all can you clean with high-pressure cleaning?
Containers, pipelines, heat exchangers, tanks, industrial floors, and technological equipment - basically anything where deposits need to be removed without chemicals and without disassembling the equipment.
Do you also remove old coatings and plaster from concrete?
Yes, removing old coatings, plaster, and layers from concrete and steel is one of our main services - the surface after treatment is ready for new finishing without further grinding.
What is "emergency cleaning" and how fast can you arrive?
This is a service for emergency situations where equipment, tanks, or surfaces need to be cleaned immediately to prevent operational failures or damage. We have 24/7 availability, the specific arrival time depends on the location.
Do I need to prepare the space before your intervention?
For most orders, it is enough to ensure access to the site and turn off sensitive equipment nearby, if relevant. We always provide specific preparation instructions when arranging the order.
